Daphne Benida

Hi! I’m Daphne, a 13-year-old young soprano and aspiring actor based in Dubai. I’m passionate about singing, acting, musical theatre, and performing, and I love the excitement of being on stage and connecting with an audience. I’m a BurJuman Rising Stars semi-finalist and a competitive singer, with two years of experience in singing club and two years in public speaking club. I first started singing by performing for my classmates at school, and since then, I’ve grown more confident through competitions and musical theatre performances. I’ve also received recognition for my performances, including Best in Theatrical Performance in Arabic during Year 8 and a Most Unique Performance award at another competition. I’m still at the beginning of my acting journey, but I’m excited to learn, grow, and take on new opportunities in both acting and singing. I’m always looking for ways to challenge myself, develop my skills, and bring energy and authenticity to every performance.
