Dahami Kulasekara

I’m 17 and live in the UAE, and I’ve loved acting since I was 11. Growing up with much older siblings, I spent a lot of time playing by myself, acting out characters from TV shows and movies, sometimes playing multiple roles at once, using props and costumes, and performing scenes for my parents. Acting became my way to explore emotions and stories. I taught myself from YouTube videos, observing professional actors, and my own experiences, including performing in a stage play where I learned by watching and collaborating with others. I’m fluent in English and Sinhala, play volleyball, ride bikes, and I’m good at drawing. I’ve always been very sensitive and overly observant, which I once thought was a weakness, but it’s actually my greatest strength,it helps me understand people and characters deeply. I’m focused, passionate, and ready to take every opportunity to grow.
